Organic Food May Help With Weight Loss

While not much research has been done on the subject, some food researchers believe that eating only organic foods may help speed up weight loss for bariatric patients and others who are trying to lose weight through dieting.

Before elaborating, it's important to note that as with any food regime, experts stress that eating organically should be done as a way to make it a lifestyle, not as a temporary fix for losing a few extra pounds. Eating only organic foods is a great investment- both in time and money. Not every grocery store and restaurant carries organic food, so visiting co-ops, stores like Whole Foods, and other retailers that specialize in carrying organic goods are your best bet for making it easy to eat organic.

A recent article by newspaper giant the New York Times says that there is a growing trend in the number of teenagers and children who are going under the knife and receiving weight loss surgery. Despite the success of test patients under 18, experts are unsure whether or not there will be any long term negative consequences.
